Catch Billy on News Channel 5+
Catch Billy Montana and Rodney Clawson on News Channel 5+ in December. The two hit songwriters will appear on Words and Music, a cable TV show that's hosted by News Channel 5+'s Harry Chapman and is sponsored by the Nashville Songwriters Association International. The half hour talk show allows the writers to perform a few of their songs and tell a little bit of what went on behind the scenes as the songs were being created, recorded and making their climb to the top of the charts. Billy Montana has had many songs cut by other artists as well as the songs he has recorded for his own records. Just to name a few of the hits Billy has written, the history breaking "More Than a Memory" for Garth Brooks, "Bring on the Rain," for JoDee Messina, "Suds in the Bucket" for Sara Evans and more! Rodney Clawson also has an impressive resumer - he has hits like "Johnny Cash," "Why," and "Amarillo Sky" for Jason Aldean, "Sweet Southern Comfort" f or Buddy Jewel, "Sunshine and Summertime" for Faith Hill, and most recently, "I Saw God Today," the George Strait smash that won the 2008 CMA Single of the Year award earlier this week.

Catch Keni Thomas on GAC
Continue to look for Keni Thomas' Shreveport 2 LA video on GAC. The video has spent the past 3 months inside the top 10 on GAC's Top 20 Countdown. Shreveport 2 LA was written by Billy Montana and fellow Moraine Music writer Mike Plume and is the debut single from Keni Thomas' Gunslinger CD which becomes available Nov. 13, 2008. Look for the cd in stores and listen for "Shreveport" on the radio airwaves!
Montana to Receive BMI Award
Billy Montana is scheduled to receive an award at the annual BMI Songwriter and Publisher Awards banquet honoring the top 50 songs from the past year. Billy will be receiving an award for his Garth Brooks hit "More Than A Memory," a song Montana co-wrote with fellow Curb Publishing writers Lee Brice and Kyle Jacobs. This will be Billy's 5th BMI award.
